FAIRCHILD Release 'Start Again'

FAIRCHILD have urged listeners to ‘put their lipstick down’ and rehydrate their senses with the release of their flawless new single ‘Start Again’ – a sleek and lightweight samba that lathers you in glitter and compels you to ransack your wardrobe and dazzle the dancefloor with shiny, shimmering shapes! Produced and mixed by Catherine Marks (Foals, Killers, Wolf Alice) ‘Start Again’ makes use of sampled drums, a killer chorus and a syncopated refrain that’ll sink its fangs into your brain and have you toe-tapping and pouting in the mirror until your Mum knocks on the door and asks what’s taking so long.

Singer Adam Lyons states, “To start again doesn’t mean to tear something down in a bout of frustration and rebuild from scratch. At least not to me. It means to reflect, to reassess, to paint over parts of the picture that aren’t working and have faith that new choices will take you somewhere you haven’t been. Start Again is really the synopsis of FAIRCHILD’s history. The impetus of our band has always been to repave a new path when we’re lost or in the wrong place. Take what’s salvageable and say so long and thankyou to the rest.”

'Start Again' premiered today on KEXP is streamable on Spotify.
