For OAW #5 our fair-skinned, auburn-platted chorister RUNAH set up shop on Chorlton's Beech Road and wowed fellow brunch goers with her droning minor keys, her haunting melodies and a face so beautiful it makes the Mona Lisa look like a drag queen's drunken 3am snapchat selfie.
RUNAH, AKA Tara Mollan, opens with her original track 'This Silence', a chilling ballad built on the dissonant ring of two sustained notes repeated almost continuously. What this girl can do with two guitar strings and some chest resonance will blow your tiny brains. Following this, she tries her hand at The Civil War's 'If I Didn't Know Better', causing many patrons to drop their marzipan croissants in complete gobsmacked awe.
This one's for anyone who's partial to almond meal and/or eggs benedict.
