On July 26, Fairchild will perform an acoustic set for the launch of Australian author (and friend) Maria Lewis' new novel, Who's Afraid? The Fairchildren mightn't strike you as introverted book worm types, what with their showstopping, earth-tone Primark ensembles (straight from the end of season bargain bins) and a long and varied history of communicating mainly through hip gyration, powerslides and sustained synth notes in the key of C - but to make these assumptions would be to judge a book by its cover. Fairchild are all about dem written words.
So why not get down to Waterstone's in Deansgate, snag a cheeky FC t-shirt and bring your penny-farthing and old timey typewriter? The fun starts at 7pm!
